[Game 2 was amazing.  Matt had a great pot-out chance to win the tournament.  He missed the sixth wink twice, very long the second time. Larry took a great long squop on it. Starting rounds Larry had all six yellows in perfect potting positions round the pot. He missed very badly three times. In round five Larry potted his last five yellows, two of them from about 18 inches!
 
In the final game Matt went for a pot, and the wink landed on the rim, before falling into the pot on its edge and bouncing out again.
 
Larry's victory means he has now won the US Singles 20 times, not counting the times he was top National behind a British winner]
